merma toys es una familia de juguetes decorativos inspirados en distintos arquetipos del juguete popular. son parte de una exploración que hice con eduardo altamirano, donde las formas y dimensiones de los desechos de madera de proyectos en los que trabajaron durante un año, fueron el punto de partida para empezar a configurar artefactos para distintas utilidades y diferentes tipologías. utilizando herramientas sencillas, modificando lo menos posible los cortes originales.

merma toys is a family of decorative toys inspired by different archetypes of the popular toy. they are part of an exploration that I did with eduardo altamirano, where the shapes and dimensions of the wooden waste from projects, in which they worked for a year, were the starting point to start configuring artifacts for different uses and typologies using simple tools, modifying the original cuts as little as possible.
